A Waukon man was injured in a two-car crash Tuesday morning on Highway 9 two miles east of Decorah.
The Iowa State Patrol says 30-year-old Michael Roth was injured when a car driven by 19-year-old William Musus-Alonzo crossed the center line on Highway 9 and struck a glancing blow to Roth's van. Both vehicles then came to rest in the north ditch.
Roth was taken to Winneshiek Medical Center by ambulance. Musus-Alonzo was ticketed with failure to maintain control and for a seat belt violation.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted by the Decorah Police Department, Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department and the Winneshiek County Ambulance.
