Winneshiek Medical Center's financial performance half way through its 2011-2012 fiscal year isn't what hospital leaders had hoped, but it is still ahead of last year's performance.
Chief Financial Officer Lynn Luloff says the hospital earned $457,327 from July 1st through December 31st of 2011--a two percent margin on net revenue. The hospital had budgeted for a 4.69 percent return, but net patient revenues are down $2.3 million for the first six months of the fiscal year.
