Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce to offer agriculture scholarships

The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce has begun taking applications for a $350 scholarship it will award to two students who will study agriculture.

There will be one $350 scholarship awarded to a graduating high school senior who plans to study agriculture after graduation.  Another $350 scholarship will be awarded to a student currently enrolled in an agriculture program at NICC.  

Applications are available online at www.decorahareachamber.com, at the Chamber office located at 507 West Water Street Decorah and by calling 563-382-3990.  

The deadline for applications is February 18th.  All scholarships must be postmarked by that date or delivered to the Chamber by 5 p.m. for consideration.  

Winners will be notified in advance with award recognition to take place at the 11th annual Ag Appreciation Luncheon on March 21st.
