Two-car crash leads to traffic charges

A two-car traffic accident on Water Street Wednesday afternoon has led to traffic charges against a Decorah woman.

Decorah Police say 62-year-old Bonita Ward pulled out of a parking space on State Street just as 50-year-old Larry Kriener of Ridgeway turned right onto Water Street from State Street.  The resulting crash caused $3,100 in damages, but no injuries.

Ward was ticketed for Unsafe Start of a Stopped Vehicle.
