"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" will visit Fayette County

The ABC Television program "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" will build a new home in two weeks in Fayette County, according to the Waterloo Courier.

 Producers for the TV program were in Cedar Falls earlier this week.  They did not announce the name of the family which will receive the new home—and won't do so until October 2nd, when Ty Pennington and his design team from the TV show arrive at the family's doorstep.
But they did announce several other details.  Larson Construction Co. of Independence will be the builder for the project.  Struxture Architects, with offices in Waterloo, was chosen as the architect.
