Eastern Star hires new social worker

The Barthell Eastern Star Nursing Home has hired a full-time social worker. 

Nichole Hageman is a recent graduate of St. Olaf College.  She is the wife of Spc. Andrew Hageman, who is serving with the 322nd Engineer Company in Afghanistan.  Nichole made a presentation of her senior paper topic at a conference in Louisiana that focused on the needs of military members' children in our rural schools.    Nichole collaborated in her presentation with St. Olaf College Social Work Professor Naurine Lennox and with Boston, Massachusetts resident Anna Goodman.
