Two-car accident cases $1,500 in damages

Decorah Police are reporting a two-car accident on Saturday.

87-year-old Earlen Arneson of Decorah was leaving the Decorah Mart parking lot around 10:00 a.m. when he hit the gas pedal instead of the brake--and crossed College Drive, striking a car driven by 42-year-old Jill Marquardt of Decorah. Neither driver was injured. Arneson was not ticketed.
