


11 members of the Decorah FFA exhibited at the Iowa State Fair, with several returning home with awards.
The Decorah FFA placed state runner up in total points at the Iowa State Fair FFA horse show. Dustin Bigler exhibited the Grand Champion light horse with fellow Decorah FFA member Dalton Frana showing the Reserve light horse. Danielle Fulsaas received two blues and a red and Dalton Harvey had second place in the pony halter class for the FFA show.
Brittany Nelson exhibited the Grand Champion market pen of pullets and the Supreme Reserve Grand Champion market pen at the Iowa State Fair market broiler show, with fellow Decorah FFA member Kelsey Bruvold taking reserve grand champion pullets. Andrew Luzum showed the reserve market broiler pen of roosters, while Remington Brandel exhibited the reserve market broiler pen of mixed pullets and roosters. Mitch Nordheim, Andrew Luzum and Brittany Nelson were also named in the top ten of market broiler showpersons for the the Iowa State Fair in the FFA division.
In the Iowa State Fair FFA dairy goat show Shelby Cornelius has the best doe and exhibited the champion of the purebreds.
Kaytlin Massman exhibited a purple ribbon derby hog and a blue ribbon market hog in the Iowa State Fair FFA swine show.
