I read the story about the Supervisor's vote on the redistricting plan.  The Temporary Redistricting Commission was bipartisan, the County Attorney says all the rules were followed, and no one at the public hearing held by the Commission objected to the plan ( I know, I was there).  Yet Bill Ibanez decides to object to the new districts.  In fact, he called it one of the most important issues he's voted on during his time as a Supervisor.  Not $16 million budgets, not comprehensive plans, not personnel issues.  Nope, this issue was WAY more important.  The only reason he (or anyone else) could object is because he thinks he can't get re-elected in the new district.
