


Northeast Iowa Community College's Continuing Education department has begun accepting enrollments for a Principles of Banking course.
The series of sessions will be held at the NICC Calmar campus from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Thursdays from September 1st through December 15th. Banking professional Maura Jones will teach the course.
The comprehensive Principles of Banking course is accredited by the American Institute of Banking and provides participants with an introduction to the diversified services and operations of the banking industry. Topics covered include the history of banking, Federal Reserve functions, bank loans and deposits, teller functions, electronic banking, customer service and more. For banking and finance professionals, this course can enhance knowledge and offer assistance for ongoing professional development.
