One candidate for Decorah City Manager withdraws

The number of semifinalists for the job of Decorah City Manager has shrunk to four.

City council member Rachel Vagts says one candidate has withdrawn their name, leaving four other semifinalists.  Those candidates will visit Decorah on Thursday and Friday.  Each candidate will meet with city department heads on Thursday and will be taken around Decorah by community volunteers acting as tour guides.  The actual interviews with the four semifinalists will take place on Friday.
