Three Luther College presidents named 2011 Nordic Fest Grand Marshals

The Nordic Fest Board has selected three Luther College presidents as this year's Grand Marshals of the Nordic Fest parade.  Current president Rick Torgerson and former presidents Elwin Farwell and H. Gerge Anderson were selected for the honor in celebration of Luther College's sesquicentennial.

Farwell served as Luther's president from 1963-1981, Anderson from 1982-1995 and Torgerson from 1999 to present.  Luther has had only nine presidents in its 150 years.
