


The organizers of Saturday's American Cancer Society Relay for Life have released a schedule of events for the day.
Registration for the event will begin at noon at the Decorah High School track. Opening ceremonies will be held at 1:00 p.m., with the singing of the National Anthem by Sarah Hammel.
Evening events include a live auction with Steve Darrington at 6:30 p.m.; speeches at 7:00 p.m. by cancer survivors Sheena Suckow and Steve Courtney and by Honorary Caregiver Paul Scott.
At 9:00 p.m. will be the lighting of the luminarias and the reading of the names of area people who have been affected by cancer. A "Fight Back" ceremony at 10:00 p.m. will include awards and team recognitions.
