Humane Society of Northeast Iowa is kicking off a pet photo contest

The Humane Society of Northeast Iowa has begun a photo contest to select pictures for the group's 2012 calendar.

For $5, you can submit one photo of your pet to the Humane Society of Northeast Iowa, with all proceeds going to the shelter fund.  You must submit a hi-resolution photo.  There cannot be any people in the picture.

12 photos will be chosen to be in the Humane Society's 2012 calendar, with one grand prize winner featured on the cover.

Chip Peterson of Peterson Photography will oversee judging of photos.  All photos submitted will be used in the calendar in a collage.
