Toys Go 'Round is getting new trikes

The Toys Go 'Round program in the lower level of the Decorah Public Library is adding six new trikes and scooters to its inventory, courtesy of the Pepsi Refresh Program.

Cody Barloon, one of the first TGR kids when it opened almost 20 years ago spent some time putting together trikes and scooters on a recent day off from Hawkeye Community College.

The toy lending library is open Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.  Membership is open to anyone within the Winneshiek County area.  For a small yearly fee, members are able to check out an unlimited number of toys, keep them for two weeks, bring them back and check-out more toys all year long.
   
Toys Go 'Round will also be participating in the Family Fun night at Phelps Park on Thursday.  TGR will be serving a meal of pizza, beverage and a cookie for $3.00.
