McDonalds donates blankets for pediatric patients at hospital

Pediatric patients at the Winneshiek Medical Center will be warmer in the future, thanks to donations from employees at Mc Donald's of Decorah.

The blanket project involves McDonald's employees in Western Wisconsin, Northeastern Iowa and Southeastern Minnesota.  The blankets donated to Winneshiek Medical Center were made by the Decorah Mc Donald's staff.  "We enjoy making the blankets," said Decorah McDonalds manager Diana Johnson, adding, "We always look forward to delivering them for the kids."

"This is the third donation McDonalds has made to Winneshiek Medical Center, and our patients are so grateful," said WMC Med/Surg Nurse Manager Catherine Hildebrandt.
