The Winneshiek County Extension Office is settling into its new offices in the former Bruening Rock Products offices on Washington Street.
Office Manager Carrie Courtney took decorahnews.com's Paul Scott on a tour of the new facilities on Monday. The new location has plenty of space for Extension Office employees. It also has a spacious meeting room in the front of the building--a room that can be used for free by agriculture-related groups in need of a meeting space.
The facility also includes a rear entrance with a handicapped ramp.
Winneshiek County Extension is sharing the building with Upper Explorerland Regional Planning Commission. Iowa Workforce Development will also move into the building in August.
