13 applicants so far for Decorah City Manager's position

There is considerable interest in the position of City Manager in Decorah.

Current City Manager Jerry Freund has announced his upcoming retirement, so the position is being advertised.  The company hired as a consultant for the hiring process says it has received 13 applications so far.

Interviews with the top candidates are expected to begin the last week in July.
