


The president of the Decorah-based Raptor Resource Project, the organization that runs Decorah's eaglecam, has died in an incident following tornadoes that rolled through Minneapolis over the weekend.
53-year-old Rob MacIntyre was using a chainsaw to help clear a tree from a blocked roadway on Sunday. Family members said MacIntyre collapsed around 6:00 Sunday night. Paramedics didn't arrive immediately because they had to travel on foot through impassable streets to reach MacIntyre.
Raptor Resource Project released a statement thanking MacIntyre for his contributions to the eaglecam and the organization as a whole. concluded the statement, "We have many great memories of Rob and are shocked and saddened by his passing"
