


The National Center for Charitable Statistics wants the public to know more about non-profit organizations throughout the country. So it has posted their tax returns to its website, http://nccsdataweb.urban.org
The NCCS says there are 10 non-profit organizations in Decorah with 2009 revenues in excess of $1 million. Topping the list, of course, is Luther College, with 2009 revenues of $103 million and total assets of $231 million.
NEICAC follows, with 2009 revenues of $15 million. Aase Haugen Homes, Seed Savers, Eastern Star, Opportunity Homes, NEIAMHC, Northland Agency on Aging, Vesterheim and Helping Services round out the list.
The NCCS lists another 15 Decorah non-profit organizations with 2009 revenues in excess of $100,000.
