Winneshiek Medical Center officially banning weapons at the hospital

First Winneshiek county, then the City of Decorah and now Winneshiek Medical Center.

The hospital's board of trustees made it official Wednesday evening--weapons will be banned from the hospital building.

Local governments and organizations have begun posting such messages in the wake of the Iowa Legislature's move to make it easier to get a permit to carry a gun.
