Well, the package WAS ticking.
The Luther college Chips reports that the Luther Student Union was evacuated last Friday morning because of a suspicious package in the mail. Workers at the Student Post Office heard a package ticking, so the package was moved outside and the building was evacuated.
The student to whom the package was addressed was tracked down--and informed authorities that the package contained a metronome that had been ordered online and somehow starting ticking during shipping.
