


A fourth grader at North Winneshiek School, Stacia Sexton, has received an Honorable Mention Award in the Invent Iowa competition.
Stacia's invention, the Waste Less Bottle, is a container engineered so that all of the liquid inside gets pumped out of the bottle.
Stacia's invention was one of 6 selected from local competition to be submitted for the state competition. She then was chosen for the awards round and sent in a 3-minute video presentation on her invention. Stacvia will receive a $50 U.S. Savings Bond.
