


Over 100 Decorah High School students had a good trip to Ames Saturday to perform at the All-State Speech Festival at the Iowa State Center on the ISU campus.
They were part of 10 speech groups that received outstanding ballots and received a nomination to be part of the festival, which recognizes the best speech students from across the state of Iowa.
DHS Varsity speech groups receiving performance nominations were readers theater, choral reading, one-act play, one ensemble acting, two musical theaters, and television news.
