A Trout Unlimited chapter from Nebraska has made a $1,000 donation towards stream restoration work in the Driftless area of northeast Iowa.

Trout Unlimited Chapter #710 President Gene Kathol and Board Member Bob Johnston, both of Nebraska, presented Iowa Driftless Chapter President Chris Wasta with the donation.  The two also spoke to Iowa Driftless Chapter members about trout fishing and stream restoration work in Nebraska.

Trout Unlimited is a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to cold-water stream and habitat restoration work throughout the United States.  The Iowa Driftless Chapter of Trout Unlimited, based in Decorah, directs donations and money raised through fund raisers specifically toward stream restoration projects in northeast Iowa.
