Police respond to two-car accident

Decorah Police were called to a two-car accident on Highway 9 Friday afternoon. They say 19-year-old James Shimek of Calmar changed lanes on Highway 9 near Ridgewood Drive, but failed to see a car driven by 44-year-old Arla Dawley of Ridgeway. The resulting accident caused $2,600 in damages.
