


Northeast Iowa Community College Continuing Education is offering a "Principles of Banking" course. The classes will be held at the NICC Calmar campus Wednesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. from February 9th through May 18th.
Former Bank of the west Decorah office manager Kent Kleckner will teach the course in room 101 of the Wilder Resource Center.
The comprehensive Principles of Banking course is accredited by the American Institute of Banking (AIB) and introduces participants to the diversified services and operations of the banking industry. Topics covered include the history of banking, Federal Reserve functions, bank loans and deposits, teller functions, electronic banking, customer service and more. Banking and finance professionals have an opportunity to enhance their knowledge and develop professionally in their careers through the NICC course offering.
