Decorah Holiday Parade features snowflakes

Bruening Rock Products' float had the characters from "Peanuts"

The annual Decorah holiday parade on Friday night on Water Street benefited from perfect timing.  The parade marched through downtown Decorah just as snowflakes floated down from the skies, giving the perfect setting to the parade.

Floats in this year's parade followe the theme of the "12 Days of Christmas," with 12 floats representing each one of the 12 days of Christmas.  A float by Bruening Rock Products won first place in the judging.

Children waited on the parade route to receive candy
