Accident leads to injury, charges

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says a two-car accident in Ridgeway on Tuesday injured a Decorah woman.

29-year-old Clarissa Einck's car was struck when 63-year-old Mary Reckart of Ridgeway failed to stop for the stop sign at Highway 9 and Main Street in Ridgeway. Reckart was charged with Failure to Obey a Stop Sign.

Einck was taken to Winneshiek Medical Center by ambulance.
