Decorah sets a high of 90 degrees on Saturday

Temperatures have been above normal in Decorah for the last seven months in a row.  That trend certainly continued over the weekend.

The high temperature in Decorah on Saturday was 90 degrees, while the thermometer hit 82 degrees on Sunday.

Saturday's high set two all-time records.  Not only was the high two degrees warmer than the previous record of 88 degrees, set in 1904, but it marked the latest ever in October that a temperature of 90 degrees or warmer had been recorded.

The weather forecast for this week is for temperatures to continue above normal--but not to set any records.
