Police receive report of stolen LP tank

The owners of a rural farm in Fremont Township in northwestern Winneshiek County have reported the theft of a 1,000 pound LP storage tank.

The tank is described as silver with a green hinged valve cover. The person or person who stole the LP tank apparently left the farm traveling westbound on County Highway A-14.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department is asking anyone with information regarding the stolen LP tank to contact the Sheriff's Department at (563) 382-4268.
