Wold Park will expand

Wold Park will be expanding. 

The Decorah City Council has given approval to the Decorah Park and Recreation Department to purchase property adjacent to the park.  The Park-Rec Department will use $25,000 in property funds and $20,000 in memorial funds to buy the land.

The Parks & Recreation Department had been leasing the property, but the sale will put the property in the permanent control of the City of Decorah.
