Winneshiek County 4-H'ers Excel at Iowa State Fair Clothing Event

Two Winneshiek County 4Hers have received awards at the Iowa State Fair's "Awardrobe" Clothing Event.  Kayla Buchheit finished in the top ten percent in the Fashion Revue and Laura Francois finished in the top ten percent in the $15 Challenge.  Also representing Winneshiek County at the State Fair clothing judging were Kristen Flak and Becca Lensing.

Kayla Buchheit represented Winneshiek County in the Fashion Revue.  This contest is for 4-H'ers who constructed their outfit. Kayla constructed a 100% wool outfit made from fabrics she had won at past "Make it with wool" contests.

Laura Francois represented Winneshiek County in the $15 Challenge Division. This division challenges 4-H'ers to purchase an outfit at consignment stores using $15 or less.
