"Dear Mr. Answer Person: What's with all those strange-looking paths in the grass behind the dike near Twin Bridges?"
Cross country coach Al Ludeking has spearheaded an effort to create a cross country training trail for high school and middle school students. He has created a system of trails that runs along the Upper Iowa River, even mowing the trails himself. The paths are relatively new, so there hasn't been a decision yet whether they will be used only for training or eventually will be used at meets.
