July was wet, wet, wet

Decorah weather observer Richard Bernatz says it was a wet month in Decorah in July.

Bernatz's monthly Decorah weather report says we received 8.3 inches of rain during July.  In a normal July, precipitation totals 4.1 inches.  That means July precipitation was 4.2 inches over normal in 2010.  For the past 12 months, Decorah has had over 42 inches of precipitation--an excess of 9.59 inches over the average rainfall amount.
