Luther College is awarding a National Merit Scholarship to a Belmond-Klemme High School graduate. Jessica Landgraf wants to pursue an anthropology degree at the college.
The scholarship is being funded by Luther College--one of 1,900 college-funded scholarships announced last week by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. The organization released the names of over 2,800 other college-sponsored scholarship recipients in May. At that time Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois announced it was awarding a National Merit Scholarship to Jaco Knobbe of Decorah, who wants to earn a degree in journalism.
College-sponsored Merit Scholarships provide between $500 to $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study at the institution financing the scholarship.
