Traffic accident causes $5,000 in damages

Winneshiek county Sheriff's Deputies responded to a traffic accident shortly before 5:00 p.m. Thursday west of Fort Atkinson.

The Sheriff's Department says 28-year-old Brianna Budweg of Fredericksburg started passing 23-year-old Lance Bouska of Fort Atkinson at the same time Bouska started turning left into a field drive.  Passenger 25-year-old Sarah Mitchell was injured in the accident.  Neither driver was ticketed.
