Two arrested by Decorah Police Sunday morning

A Rochester, Minnesota man has been arrested on assault charges following a police investigation early Sunday morning.

Decorah Police say they were called to 713 Heivly Street around 4:00 a.m. Sunday.  After their investigation they arrested 25-year-old Benjamin Morris of Rochester on charges of assault; assault with intent to cause a serious injury; possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver; failure to affix a drug tax stamp; and drunk driving.

As part of the same investigation, police arrested 19-year-old Trista Stepan of 608 Vernon Street on Public Intoxication charges.
