Ortivus sale is finalized; company will get new name

The sale of Ortivus North America, a software company with facilities in Decorah, has been finalized.

As decorahnews.com reported on February 20th, TriTech Software Systems had reached a tentative agreement to buy Ortivus. TriTech has now announced it has received approval from Ortivus shareholders to complete the acquisition of Ortivus North America.

In conjunction with the acquisition, Ortivus North America will be renamed TriTech Emergency Medical Systems.

Said TriTech Software Systems President and CEO Chris Maloney, "The new name is a required component of the purchase agreement with Ortivus AB, and the selection is a natural fit for the fast growing TriTech family that reinforces our strong connection to the EMS and Fire markets."
