NICC President Penny Wills apparently will not be hired by an Arizona community college as its next president.

Maricopa Community Colleges had been looking for a new president of its Paradise Valley Community College, a Phoenix-based school that has 9,000 students. They interview Dr. Wills and three other candidates for the position.

On Thursday MCC Chancellor Rufus Glasper announced that he is recommending the appointment of Dr. Paul Dale to be President of Paradise Valley Community College. The Maricopa Community Colleges Governing Board is scheduled to vote on the recommendation at its meeting on Tuesday, March 23rd.

Dr. Dale has been serving as PVCC's interim president and formerly was the college's Vice President of Learning Support Services, in charge of student development, learning support services, and learning technology services. He has been an administrator at PVCC since 1997.

Dr. Dale received his BS in Sociology from Iowa State University, his Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and his Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.
