School calendar set for 2010-11

The Decorah Community School Board set the academic calendar for 2010-11 at their meeting Monday night. School will begin earlier this year on August 19, with the Christmas holiday beginning on December 23. Classes will resume on January 5. The last regularly scheduled day of classes is May 24, 2011. Two make up days have been built into the calendar, with four additional make up days running through May 31 as needed.
