Decorah weather observer Richard Bernatz says temperatures in Decorah averaged 19.2 degrees in February. That was 0.7 degrees cooler than the average from the last 115 Februaries.

Bernatz says temperatures ranged from 36 degrees on February 6th and 28th to -11 degrees on February 11th, but no records were set for highs or lows.

Decorah had a total of 13 inches of snow in February, which was 6 inches more than average. However, the snowfall was relatively dry, which meant precipitation totaled 0.69 inches, which was 0.25 inches less than average.
