City of Decorah rents out airport land

The Decorah City Council held a ten-minute auction on Monday night and when the auction was done, the city had rented out 44 acres of land near the airport. The 14th bid made during the auction--a bid of $260 per acre--was made by Decorah resident Mike Henry. The rental will cover a three year term.
