Monday's snowy conditions lead to two traffic accidents

Decorah Police responded to two traffic accidents on snowy streets Monday.

At 9:15 a.m. 20-year-old Brock Dansdill stopped on Old Stage Road to turn left into a private drive. 31-year-old Aaron Whittle of Decorah was unable to stop and struck Dansdill's car, causing a total of $7,000 in damages.

At 4:40 p.m. 30-year-old Todd Neal of Decorah attempted to turn right onto State Street from Water Street, but skidded into a car driven by 46-year-old Donna Nesvik of Ossian. The accident caused $1,400 in damages.
