Two-car accident at Highway 9 and Short Street causes $4,900 in damages

Decorah Police are releasing details of a two-car accident at Highway 9 and Short Street last Tuesday, February 2nd. They say 85-year-old Frederick Boettcher of Calmar pulled onto Highway 9 from Short Street and turned into the side of a car driven by 63-year-old DuWayne Fiecker of Postville, causing $4,900 in damages. Neither driver was injured and no tickets were issued.
