This fiscal year has been a much better fiscal year for the Winneshiek Medical Center than last year was. The hospital lost money during the 2008-2009 fiscal year. But Chief Financial Officer Lynn Luloff says the hospital has had a $977,253 net gain for the first six months of the year after posting a $259,971 net gain in December.
Luloff is also cautiously optimistic about the next fiscal year. She says hospital staffers are putting together "a fiscally responsible budget" for next year.
