Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce offering ag scholarship

The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for the annual agriculture scholarship award. This scholarship has been designed for students currently studying or planning to study agriculture. Qualified candidates must currently be either a first year agriculture student at NICC or a high school student at a school within Winneshiek County and planning to study agriculture in their post secondary school choice.

The scholarship is for $350. The money will be granted upon report of the student's first semester grades. Application deadline is February 16th.

The award will be presented at the 9th Annual Ag Appreciation Luncheon that will take place on March 17th in the Danan Lansing Building on the Winneshiek County Fairgrounds. Winners will be notified in advance.
