Decorah and South Winn to share ELL teacher

The Decorah Community School Board has entered into an agreement with South Winneshiek to equally share the cost of an English Language Learning teacher for next year. The new teacher, Jodi Cardo, will be under contract with South Winneshiek and share duties between the school districts. Decorah lost its ELL teacher this past summer, and given the very limited number of certified ELL teachers in the state, the agreement was seen as beneficial to all parties.
