Winneshiek Medical Center officials say they believe they still will be able to continue all their present radiology services, despite the resignation of radiologist Dr. Kirby Clark. Dr. Clark has decided to move to Dubuque February 21st to be closer to his extended family. However, Winneshiek Medical Center Chief Administrative Officer Dan Werner says Clark has indicated he's willing to stay longer if necessary.
Two radiologists will be providing fill-in service in February, March and April after Dr. Clark leaves and before a new radiologist is hired. Winneshiek Medical Center officials have already begun recruiting and interviewing for a permanent radiologist.
