The new year has brought changes at three businesses in Decorah.

The Winneshiek County Credit Bureau, which had operated the Public Records Bulletin for 26 years, has announced it has sold the business to Tony Phillips. Phillips and his staff will continue to put out the publication on its regular weekly cycle.

The Hotel Winneshiek has new ownership as of January 1st. Brett D. Reese, the managing principal of Rebound Enterprises, announced last month that Rebound Enterprises' purchase of the hotel would be effective January 1st.

January 1st also meant the closing of Amish Treasures on Water Street. The business has closed the door and sold its inventory.
